III) Semantic SEO Services

a) First Understand What is Semantic Search:-

Semantic Search seeks to improve search accuracy by understanding the searcher's intent and the contextual meaning of terms as they appear in the searchable dataspace, whether on the Web or within a closed system, to generate more relevant results. Semantic search systems consider various points including a context of search, location, intent, and variation of words, synonyms, generalized and specialized queries, concept matching and natural language queries to provide relevant search results. Major web search engines like Google and Bing incorporate some elements of semantic search. In vertical search, LinkedIn publishes their semantic search approach to job search by recognizing and standardizing entities in both queries and documents, e.g., companies, titles, and skills, then constructing various entity-aware features based on the entities. [Source-Wikipedia]

b) What does Semantic SEO Exactly Mean:

The proper and technical definition given above about the Semantic Search clearly indicates that due to adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning Technology Search Engines have become quite enough smart to understand the intent, context, meaning of the search-related activities carried out by the users on the web and hence the search engines also cleverly understand the intent, context, meaning of the content uploaded by the website owners on their websites.

c) What W3C Says for Semantic

According to the W3C, (whose role is to promote standards for the web)
“The Semantic Web provides a common framework that allows data to be shared and reused across application, enterprise, and community boundaries.”

d) Keyword Based SEO Has Gone Now:

Earlier Keyword based SEO was just like One-One Matching or One-to-Many Matching or Many-to-Many-Matching type. In other words, it was just an information retrieval process. Meaning, purpose, intent, the context behind any activity on the web was not at all considered before.

Some SEO Strategies are dead now especially the one which was responsible to work around some specific keywords.

e) Semantic SEO Is Entity-Based SEO:

Semantic SEO is the way we can directly describe the Search Engines in a manner we describe our services or products or anything to the real human being in daily life. And Search Engines then further tell the same story in the manner we have described to them to the end users surfing the world-wide-web. When such an opportunity is available then why miss it.

What is an Entity?

According to Wikipedia:

An entity is something that exists as itself, as a subject or as an object, actually or potentially, concretely or abstractly, physically or not.

In the context of Semantic Web an entity is much more than that:

In the Semantic Web, an entity is the “thing” described in a document which helps search engine to understand everything you know about a person, an organization or a place mentioned in a document.

f) What do we provide in Semantic SEO:

1. Structured Data Markup For Each Thing Which Is Important To Get Visibility:

Many People think that Structured Data Markup is just for the NAP (Name-Address-Phone). But this is not the reality. Using Semantic SEO we can tell search engines all the information which we think important and should be displayed to the users in a systematic manner.

E.g. you can tell the search engine a little story that you are a Digital Marketing Service Provider Company, you have certain numbers of branches in one or more than one country. Your specializations, your logo, your web-pages, your price-ranges, etc.

2. We Provide Structured Data Markup in Microdata, JSON-LD manner:

Since Google can understand JSON-LD Structured Data Markup smartly we prefer using it. It also helps reducing web-page load time.

3. Content and Semantic SEO:

Since Semantic SEO is based on the intent, context and the meaning of the information you provide to the search engines through the material you publish on your website, it is indeed the Content which is dealt with.

To get better and the best results through Semantic SEO we will definitely interfere with the Content our clients publish on their website. Better or the best content for Semantic SEO same will be the result.

4. We Focus To Create A Great Content According To The Context:

While creating new content or renewing content we think for the best way to present the information so it is easy for the user to find. We think by keeping ourselves in the shoes of customers. When the user can easily understand our content, we have taken a big step in helping the search engines to do likewise.

5. Benefits of Suing Structured Data MarkUp. Why do we use Structured Data Markup?

i) Increase the Visibility of Website/WebPage:

By providing clear data to search engines so that they can better understand your website and this is done using the Structured Data Markup

ii) Google Search can enable a rich set of features for your page in search results

if it understands the content of the page and, in some circumstances, if you explicitly provide additional information in the page code using structured data.
These features fall into two general categories:
Content type: Many search features are tied to the topic of your page. For example, if the page has a recipe or a news article, or contains information about an event or a book.

Google Search results can then apply content-specific features such as making your page eligible to appear in a top news stories carousel, a recipe carousel, or an events list.

Enhancements: These are features that, can be applied to more than one kind of content type. For example, providing review stars for a recipe or movie, or exposing a carousel of rich results (previously known as rich cards).

iii) Structured Data Helps Google To Understand The Meaning Or Say Concept/Subject/Context Of Your Web Page:

Google, Bing, Yahoo and other search engine work hard to understand the content of a page. We can help us by providing explicit clues about the concept, context of a page to Google by including structured data on our web-page.

Structured data is a standardized format for providing information about a page and classifying the page content; for example, on a recipe page, what are the ingredients, the cooking time and temperature, the calories, and so on.

Your web pages have an underlying meaning that people understand when they read the web pages. But search engines have a different type of and limited understanding of what is being displayed on web pages.

By adding Structured Data Markup to the HTML of your web pages—tags that say, "Hey Google search engine! this information on this website or web page describes this specific business, services, products, movie, or place, or person, or video"— in this way website publisher helps search engines (computer programmes) and other applications better understand the content on a given web page and display it in a useful, relevant way.

Structured Data Markup is helpful to construct a sound conversion between a human being and the machine i.e. computer programmes which work as search engines.

iv) Structured Data Provides Rich Snippets/Rich Search Results/Rich Cards (formerly known):

Rich Snippets/Rich Search Results are the informative visual design cue that increases click-through rates.

Rich Snippets/Rich Search Results are extra lines of information shown to users in the search results (SERP). Rich Search Results /Rich Snippets are created by the search engines using Structured Data Markup applied by the website publishers on their pages.

The extra line of information is meant to provide extra information to the user to help them decide to go to that website. It could the contact no, email, site links, 5-star rating, the price or dates of events.

Google shows this extra information for approximately 15+ different types of contents.

v) Distribution of the Content:

We use structured data to mark up the webpage content to help Google better understand its context for display in Search, and we achieve a better distribution of our (clients’) content to users from Search.

vi) Structured Data Helps In Increasing The CTR (Organic and Paid):

Due to the attractive and accurate presentation made possible due to use of Structured Data Markup users are more likely to click on such featured search results. More clicks obviously increase the Click-Through-Rate (CTR).

This Quality Score is nothing but the overall estimate calculated by these platforms considering the quality, user experience, user interface, relevance, etc. of the landing page or web page.

This means Structured Data Markup is also important for Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Services
and Social Media Marketing (SMM) ServicesMobile Marketing ServicesEmail Marketing Services Point of View.

vii) Structured Data Markup also increases the Search Engine Ranking:

This is a point of Debate since long as Google has not announced yet this officially.
But if consider the following points in a sequence we may understand, what we want to say.
  1. Structured data helps Google algorithms to better understand and Index your data.
  2. Structured data imposes a structure on your website's architecture that’s independent of design
  3. Structured data is easier to link automatically through machines
  4. Structured Data Markup increases the CTR.
  5. CTR increased means increase in the website traffic.
  6. Increase in traffic also gives somehow boost to share those web pages over the social media.
  7. Meaning thereby increased CTR generates two types backlinks one from direct search engines and other from users through the social media.
  8. Obviously, these are going to be the Quality and Relevant Backlinks which is the basic or fundamental factor while deciding the ranking by any search engines.
  9. Backlinks are getting generated and quality content is present then what other is required to get higher ranking in the search engines?

6. No Guarantee – Google Says:

“Google does not guarantee that your structured data will show up in search results, even if your page is marked up correctly according to the Structured Data Testing Tool.
Here are some common reasons why:
  • Using structured data enables a feature to be present, it does not guarantee that it will be present. The Google algorithm tailors search results to create what it thinks is the best search experience for a user, depending on many variables, including search history, location, and device type. In some cases, it may determine that one feature is more appropriate than another, or even that a plain blue link is best.
  • The structured data is not representative of the main content of the page or is potentially misleading.
  • The structured data is incorrect in a way that the testing tool was not able to catch.
  • The content referred to by the structured data is hidden from the user.
  • The page does not meet the guidelines for structured data described here, the type-specific guidelines, or the general webmaster guidelines.

There is no guarantee that your page will appear in Search results with the specified feature. This is because search features depend on many factors, including the search device type, location, and whether Google thinks the feature would provide the best search experience for the user.”

Structured Data Mark-Up has the potential to influence the search engines results and not to force.

7. When Everybody Getting the Result, Why Can't We?  We Must Rectify The Errors And Try Till The Expected Results:

We do search every day on search engines and we also see the result with features applied to them from search engines.

That means search engines like Google and others are providing featured search results using Structured Data Markup. When others can benefit from it then why cannot you?

Mistakes can be for few times at the starting but eventually, if you are really objective for the results your web pages must get on search engine result pages then we are here to help you.

8. We use Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) Keywords:

i) Meaning of the jargons:

Semantic means of, relating to, or arising from the different meanings of words other symbols [Source: Dictionary]

Latent means present but not visible, apparent, or actualized; existing as a potential [Source: Dictionary]

ii) Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI)

Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) is an indexing and retrieval method that uses a mathematical technique called singular value decomposition (SVD) to identify patterns in the relationships between the terms and concepts contained in an unstructured collection of text. LSI is based on the principle that words that are used in the same contexts tend to have similar meanings. A key feature of LSI is its ability to extract the conceptual content of a body of text by establishing associations between those terms that occur in similar contexts.
[Source: Wikipedia]

iii) What LSI does?

Thus according to the name- "latent semantic indexing", it has the ability to correlate semantically related words, phrases that are latent and semantic in a collection of text or any other retrieval form.

This method also called as a Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA), uncovers the underlying latent semantic structure in the usage of words in a body of text.

The same is used extract the meaning of the text in response to user queries, commonly referred to as concept searches.

Queries, or concept searches, against a set of websites, web-pages, documents that have examined by LSI will return results that are conceptually similar in meaning to the search criteria even if the results don’t share a specific word or words with the search criteria.

iv) What are LSI Keywords?

The LSI Keywords are the words or phrases which are semantically related to your primary and secondary keywords.

LSI Keywords are those words or phrases which are Related (not similar or of same meaning or synonyms always) to your keywords that a user searches on search engines.

9. How We Us LSI Keywords:

i) We consider the different Variations, Synonyms, and the Co-Occurrence while building the set of LSI keywords.

Any specific term is usually accompanied by a group or collection of other words that help to contextualize, conceptualize its meaning.

By following the above example, if a content speaks about the panda bear it is logical that we also find in the text the following words: ‘bamboo’, ‘China’, ‘animal’, ‘mammal’, etc.

We identify such ‘companion’ words and include them in our content. We give clues on the subject of our content to search engines.

ii) Besides enriching our content and make it more readable we also try to prevent that we don’t repeat the main & secondary keywords again and again.

Thus we help search engines to identify another set of terms that are directly related to the topic of our content and secondly to build a richer context for search engines.

10. Importance of LSI Keywords or Benefits of LSI Keywords. Why does it need to be differentiated from your regular keywords?

i) Search Engine tracks everything and not only keywords:
The Primary (Main) and Secondary Keywords that you choose to optimize your content with are not the only words that Google keeps track of.

ii) Search Engine has become Semantic friendly:
Google has made it their mission using Semantic SEO or say Semantic Search to better understand search queries as well as user intent in order to create a more sophisticated and useful search engine.

iii) Search Engines make frequent updates to their algorithms:
Google frequently does this through various updates to its algorithm. This is why they search engines are focusing on semantic search and why every digital publisher should be using Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) keywords to support their main and secondary keywords in the content.

iv) LSI Keywords are used to match the user query along with the intent behind it with the content on a web-page with that page’s concept:
The LSI system implemented by search engines uses the new algorithm is basically an indexing and retrieving technique that identifies patterns in the relationship of concepts and terms that are contained in a text.

Basically, it works to better match up the web-page content with the intent of user queries.

v) LSI Keywords Improve The Quality Of The Content For The Users:
LSI keywords, improve the quality of the content that users are provided with. This, in turn, means that the use of LSI keywords will help improve your page ranking.

vi) LSI Keywords Decrease Poor Quality Content:
They help to cut down on poor quality content that is stuffed with keywords.

This also helps reduce the number of poor results the user gets, which eliminates some of the other websites that may have come upon their results page, thereby improving the odds of receiving more traffic.

vii) LSI Keywords are used to increase the accuracy of the search results:
Search engines provide more accurate results through the use of LSI keyword.

viii) LSI Keywords Improve Search Ranking:
LSI keyword not only helps users gain access to higher quality content that is more aligned with their search queries, their intent it also helps website owners to improve their page rankings.

ix) LSI Keywords prevent Keyword Stuffing:
A web-page content isn’t going to read that well if we force your main and secondary keywords into every other sentence in a desperate attempt to increase your web ranking.

LSI keywords help flash out the context of your page without keyword stuffing, which is the overuse of main and secondary keywords that are often penalized by Google.

ix) LSI Keywords Help To Know Your Target Audience Better:
LSI keywords are not only to create more context for your webpage, they are really supportive getting to know your target audience better. The better you know your audience, the more effective you will be at targeting them.

x) LSI Keywords prevents the quality of content getting decreased:
The use of LSI keywords avoids the overuse of regular, main and secondary keywords. Such practice is called keyword stuffing and it results in penalties since it’s a black hat tactic, but it decreases the quality of your content.

xi) LSI Keywords Are Helpful For Search Engines:
By using LSI keywords, it is made easier for Search Engines to match a web-page up to the right query, which means that you are reducing poor quality traffic and increase the quality of your traffic.

xii) LSI Keywords Are Necessary Part of Semantic SEO or Modern SEO:
Make sure that LSI keywords are a part of your keyword strategy. The use of LSI keywords can help improve your web ranking and your web traffic by helping to provide concept/context to your content.

LSI keywords used naturally will be a great asset for your Digital Marketing/Semantic SEO/Content Marketing Strategy

g) Why use Semantic SEO? Benefits of Semantic SEO.

1) Semantic SEO is a successful, advanced marketing method to make your Content Marketing Strategy or any Digital Marketing Strategy more effective, successful and improve the traffic of a website by providing search engines with meaningful data that can unambiguously answer a specific search intent.

2) As mentioned above, search engines are becoming the real-time, authentic learning machines, knowledge centers, world-wide database so if we want our pages to be understood by search engines in the way the human does, we should make this easier for them.

3) Google, Bing, Yahoo, and Yandex have decided to join forces to develop a vocabulary to implement the HTML semantic markup of the web pages. They have brought up the standardized, compact format of technique that is Schema.org, where we can find the reference needed to semantically mark our content appropriately.

4) What is the purpose of using Schema Mark-Up (schema.org)?
Schema.org is a joint effort, in the spirit of sitemaps.org, to improve the web by creating a structured data markup schema supported by major search engines. On-page markup helps search engines understand the information on web pages and provide richer search results. A shared markup vocabulary makes easier for webmasters to decide on a markup schema and get the maximum benefit for their efforts. Search engines want to make it easier for people to find relevant information on the web. Markup can also enable new tools and applications that make use of the structure.

5) Enhanced Click-Through Rates (CTR)
6) Fully Structured 'Machine-Readable' Data
7) Full Knowledge Graph Alignment
8) Improved Cross-Device Performance
9) Increase in new users
10) Increase in organic traffic
11) Increase in page views
12) Increase in page session’s duration
13) Displayed Entities In Customer Searches
14) Enhanced 'PPC' Options (Including Lower Bids)
15) Solid Trust Rank
16) Increased Business Niche Authority
17) Prime Page Visibility -

Google Search works hard to understand the content of a page. You can help us by providing explicit clues about the meaning of a page to Google by including structured data on the page.

Structured data is a code-based, HTML supportive, concise, standardized format for providing information about a page, more explanation about the content of a webpage, and classifying the page content; for example, on a recipe page, what are the ingredients, the cooking time and temperature, the calories, and so on.

Google, Bing, Yahoo, and other search engines use structured data that it finds on the web to understand the content of the page, as well as to gather information about the web and the world in general.

For example, here is a JSON-LD structured data snippet that might appear on the contact page of the 'XYZ Services Corporation', describing their contact information.

IV) Google Penalty Recovery Services.

 Already have big SEO problems?

We can help you to fix those issues and get back on the right track, including:

a) How to know if my website is hit by Google Penalty?

  1. If you notice on your website a sudden drop in organic ranking for a given keyword or for your brand terms/keywords.
  2. Your website design or redesign was not done properly considering white hat SEO
  3. If you notice the unexpected decrease in organic traffic or leads.
  4. If you are unable to find your website on Google "site: http://www.example.com"
  5. If you notice that there are unnatural links warning messages in Google Webmaster Tools for your website.
  6. In general, if your site is hit with a manual penalty, Google lets you know whether a page or the entire website got hit.
  7. In case of the penalties driven by the Google’s Algorithms e.g. Panda, Penguin, etc. are difficult to detect as there is no message sent from Google. We can predict that if your website notices a sudden drop in traffic, your site might be hit by an algorithmic penalty.
Generally, the website gets penalized by Google due to their involvement in the Black Hat SEO practices, may be inadvertently or purposely. But Google never excuses anybody.

b) What type of Penalties Recovery Services of Google Penalties Recovery Services do we offer?

i) Manual Penalty Recovery

In this type of Google Penalty, you will see a message regarding this delivered in your ‘Manual Action’ in your Google Search Console (Webmaster) Account.

We inspect your Google Search Console (Webmaster) Account regarding any manual penalty hit to your site.

ii) Algorithmic Penalty Recovery

In this type of Google Penalty, no direct message is sent from Google in your Google Search Console (Webmaster) Account. Above-mentioned symptoms in i) section help us to diagnose correctly about the existence of the algorithmic penalties  We will assess for this type of penalty it is regular Panda or Penguin (most commonly imposed penalties from Google) algorithmic penalty and then make a strategy to overcome it.

B) What Is Search Engine?

A web search engine is a software program / system available via the Internet that is designed to search for information (it is data in the forms of text, video, images, files, documents, etc. on the different servers where different web pages/websites are hosted) on the World Wide Web and then return the results of that search query w.r.t. certain criteria/rules.

The most important and basic thing behind the structure of a search engine is that they are continuously reading the information available on the World Wide Web through the special software programme.

Therefore search engine maintains the real-time information and not outdated one. So we can think of them like a directory or a kind of database which gets updated for each and every second.

The search results against user’s search query are generally displayed on search engine results pages (SERPs) in different formats like text (often associated with the link to web pages), images, etc.

The information displayed in SERPs may be a mix of web pages, images, and other types of files. There are some search engines who also mine data available in databases or open directories.

Today, the most powerful, result oriented, user-friendly, full of information, popular and well-known search engine is Google and it is very well known to the world. Other popular search engines include Bing and Yahoo.

C) What Is SEO And Why It Was Started?

The full form of a usually used term SEO is Search Engine Optimization.

Listening to the phrase Search Engine Optimization (SEO) one would definitely think how you can optimize Search Engine or is everybody has been given such access?

So friends, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is not at all about the optimizing any search engine but it’s the process, it’s a kind of disciplined activity which includes technical implementation and creative works, which modifies, which optimizes your each and individual web page and hence your own website to get displayed on the first page of the SERP (Search Engine Result Page) for a given search query or a given topic (subject).

Now as mentioned earlier that search engine yields so many SERPs for a given search query then why it is necessary to optimize one’s web pages/website?

So friends, surveys throughout the world have revealed that every user no matter which search engine he is using never goes on the second page of the Search Engine Result Page (SERP) that means rarest of the rare cases would be found where a user seeks the second page of SERP.

Therefore SERP is the term nowadays considered for the First Page of the Search Engine Result Page. Moreover, why go for any surveys when it’s everybody’s day to day experience that nobody amongst has ever gone to peep on the second page of the SERP.

Therefore now the picture has been cleared to you that why there is cut-throat battle cum competition for the First Page of SERP as everybody wants to stay on the SERP and that also in the First Position of the SERP or at the Top Position of the SERP.

Below given three Images will make you clear the situation about the Organic listings and Ads on a given SERP for a search query. Usually, there are 8 Ads (4 ads at the top of SERP above Organic Listings + 4 Ads at the bottom of the SERP below Organic Listings) and 10 Organic Listings + 3 to 4 Local Listings displayed with the help of Google Map.

So we, in conclusion, can say that the aim of every website owner who is doing SEO of his Website (more particularly web-pages) to get appeared in these 10 + 3 listings i.e. amongst 13.

Now you think there are millions of websites on the World Wide Web and each of them wants to get ranked for their particular topic or topic related search query.

Therefore Search Engines like Google has laid down certain rules doing equal, fair and right justice with each and every website on the World Wide Web and every user who comes to Search Engine (Google particularly) to get the information i.e. nothing but the solution for any of his problem or opportunity he might be getting; AND optimizing web-pages of your website for a certain subject or a search query related to that subject according to those ethics, those rules  is called as Search Engine Optimization.

So now we can summarize the reasons that why SEO became the root necessity for any website owner who wants to establish the competitive existence on the World Wide Web: -

  1. Every user, almost, goes to the first page of any SERP
  2. There are maximum 10 to 13 places available for a web page to get displayed on the first page of any SERP
  3. Every website owner wants that a web page from its website must get displayed on the first page of SERP.
  4. SEO gives the certain ethics or rules following which the chances or say the possibility of a webpage gets increased to get displayed on the SERP (first page).
  5. Search Engine Browsers are the only and basic, primary and most useful places on World Wide Web where any user very quickly solves his problem while comparing with Social Media platforms, similar places.
  6. The results (SERPs) given by Search Engine Browsers are incomparable with other types of platforms who provide information, this is because a web-page can only be viewed or surfed across Search Engine Browsers only

What is Organic search result?

A free listing in Google Search that appears because it's relevant to someone's search terms.
  • Non-organic search results are paid advertisements.
  • The ads above organic results contain an “Ad” box.
  • The ads can also appear to the right of organic results have an “Ads” box above them.

E) Why Is SEO Mandatory And Considered As Foundation For Marketing?

  1. Rapid and continuous Increase in the Internet Users in the entire world
  2. Technology is getting advanced every day
  3. Internet charges are getting reduced and devices required to use the Internet are getting cheaper day by day attracting more and more users to show massive growth in Internet Population
  4. Therefore Internet Literacy is also speedily increasing accordingly.
  5. IoTs (Internet of Things) has become the medium of constant connectivity for everybody.
  6. IoT therefore now have become the most engaged and time spent locations by the people and thereby inspiring the business owners to show i.e. advertise their products and services on these platform targeting to specific users who are likely to be interested in their products or services, retarget them and track the results of their entire efforts.
  7. On World Wide Web or say on any Search Engine user come with certain need (latent, inherent, interests, similarly) that means they are more specific than what they want whether they are in awareness phase or consideration phase or buying phase of the buyers’ journey they will conduct the search accordingly.
  8. A Website is nothing but the Web Presence of a business entity and Web is accessible everywhere from the world. Hence the Reach and Value of the Business is sure to skyrocket if it properly gets ranked on the first page of SERP.
  9. Marketing ethics tell a business owner to market his business and also advertise about the products and services at those locations where there are large numbers of visitors, customers and prospects and the chances of their getting converted are higher.
  10. Also, ethics compel the business to focus most and first where the users themselves coming towards the business i.e. they are conducting continuous research and even thinking actively to buy the products or services that are similar to you.
  11. If a web-page gets appeared in the top of a SERP then there are higher chances that that page may receive much more traffic than results down the page, and considerably more than results on deeper pages.
  12. This is the reality which has to be accepted by any business owner or a website owner that huge and rapidly increasing traffic pays much attention to the web-pages listed at the top of the SERP (first page), means there will always be a financial investment for search engine rankings.
  13. May or may not in future search engines change in any manner, but websites and businesses will compete with one another for this attention, and for the user traffic and brand visibility it provides.
  14. Now friends if you draw conclusion from the answer given for the above-mentioned question “Why SEO was started?” along with the answer listed to them from a) to d) and also the points from i) to viii) then you can get the complete answer for the question Why SEO is Mandatory and Foundation for marketing.
  15. So far we have talked about the technical part of the SEO but is the SEO only meant or Search Engine’s ethics or rules are laid down on any random thesis or is there any concrete well-reasoned base?
  16. So the answer is Yes, the search engine was created, it was/is made to function under certain rules and in future, whatever may be the updates, we will see in it they are all to provide the best user experiences to everybody who approaches search engines. Therefore we in the beginning of this page have written about the search engine that

“So friends, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is not at all about the optimizing any search engine but it’s the process, which includes technical implementation and creative works, which modifies, which optimizes your each and individual web page and hence your own website to get displayed on the first page of the SERP (Search Engine Result Page) for a given search query or a given topic (subject).”

Therefore if you pay attention to the underlined words they suggest that we-pages or a website has to be created for Users or web contents must be served to the users but following the rules of the search engines. Your website must be both User-Friendly and Search-Engine Friendly, to create a value proposition for your website w.r.t. given topic/subject which relates to your site.

Therefore it cannot be wrong to say that a true SEO practice or a white hat SEO (legal SEO) is nothing but creating or making web-page(s) and thereby a website user-friendly, user-centric, solution-providing, useful, informative, easy, SEO abiding, similarly for both users and Search Engine.

Due to use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) Search Engines have become highly smart-enough, sophisticated so that they are trying to understand the web-page (or website) beyond technical guidelines that how that web-page is actually valuable to a particular related user, i.e. they are trying to bring human thinking or behaviour in their analysis criteria while deciding the rankings for a web page.

Right now you just keep in mind that a proper SEO technique if implemented helps the search engines to figure out what your web page is about, and how it may be useful for users.
